This Wonderful Orchid (Qi Lan) tea has a very strong aroma because this kind of tea is a high-aroma variety among the hundreds of varieties of Wuyi rock teas and has a special aroma. The tea farmers adopt the traditional charcoal roasting process, utilizing two charcoal roasting procedures and a slow stewing over gentle heat in order to lock the unique aroma of Qi Lan once it is brewed.

The dry tea leaves smell of the classic Rock Tea woody aroma plus a caramel aroma. When boiling water is added, the orchid aroma is immediately noticed. The tea brew and the floral aroma blend together to form a unique sweetness. After drinking a mouthful, the taste is sweet like honey mixed floral orchid aroma. Even when the water taste becomes more obvious, the faint floral aroma still remains.
